We actually eat a lot of avocados here. I love them and will add them to any recipe I can. Ralf more or less tolerates them but since he is never one to go hungry, he is growing an appreciation for them.
This is an avocado classic. And there is nothing better than a good guacamole. I recently met a young man who said he loved guacamole but didn’t know how to make it. I shared my secrets to what I think is the best guacamole and now I’m sharing with you.
As far as I’m concerned, the key to a good guacamole is garlic. Don’t be scared of the garlic. You can add even more than I have here but I think this amount is a
Clean Easy-Peasy Guacamole
1/2 shallot, roughly chopped
3 cloves garlic, peeled
juice of 1 lime
1. Put everything into a food processor and process until smooth. Serve on tacos, enchiladas, taco salad, burgers, you name it, this will amp up the flavour of everything!
2. If you don’t have a food processor, you can mash the avocados with a fork, mince the garlic with a press and mix everything together until smooth. It will be a bit more chunky but still delicious!
